Amazing Experience All Around. Getting married at Kingsley Pines was truly an amazing experience and exceeded all the expectations we had for our wedding. The few days we spent at the camp will be a once in a lifetime memory and they went above and beyond to make it that way. The staff was so focused on making it the wedding we wanted and were so helpful with the entire process.

The perfect Maine venue. Kingsley Pines was a pleasure to work with in pulling off our perfect wedding weekend. They let us come tour the camp as many times as we needed throughout our planning process and always got back to us quickly regarding any questions we had. During the wedding weekend, they checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly, were wonderful with our guests, and were quick to jump in and help where needed. Camp itself was put together thoughtfully with extra blankets for guests (because it was unexpectedly cold), lawn games and chairs set out on the beach, and a fire going in the lodge all day! Absolutely perfect!

Wonderful weekend-long wedding venue on a lake with cabins! My wife and I married at Kingsley Pines at the end of September, 2022. Despite some rain and cold, the weekend was wonderful and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for the ceremony. The campground staff was helpful and easy to work with, stood by for support but also let us do our thing. Our guests all had a great time relaxing and enjoying the beach and grounds, getting to know each other or catching up, exactly what we hoped for an experience for everyone. Most who weren’t local and didn’t stay on site stayed at the Microtel down the road and were plenty comfortable as well. Taxis or rideshares getting to the venue were easy to come by for our guests but for getting from the venue back out many relied on friends and family with personal or rental cars. There are nearby stores for supplies and the campground’s kitchen (including icemaker and walk-in fridge) were available for use which was very helpful. We were able to use the indoor spaces like the dining hall, main lodge and big barn for different meals and events throughout the weekend which was very useful and helpful. We found the dining hall or outdoor area near it useful for the meals other than the reception, held in the barn, and the lodge proved to be the favorite for unscheduled hang outs. The big fire pit by the lake was put to good use most evenings. Some of the cabins for guests are fairly rustic (no a/c or heat) but most have their own bathroom and bedding is provided. Two of our vendors had worked at KP before which was helpful since they knew the grounds ahead of time. I would suggest asking your vendors to do a walk through to make sure they get the layout of the property. All in all, Kingsley Pines provided the perfect weekend campground experience we were hoping for ourselves and our guests for our wedding, thanks!

Andy and I had our wedding at Kingsley Pines 8/28/21 (Fri-Sunday). Our guests had fun all weekend with the boats we rented, playing on the beach and hanging out. More than half our guests stayed on site. The bunks were great, no one had any complaints. Loon Landing and Dragonfly were perfect for the bridal suite and the parents. Dan and Laura Jo and the rest of the KP staff were very responsive and helped during the weekend as we needed. I appreciated the communication they provided with Vendors to help our weekend go smooth. They placed picnic tables outside for us, and tables/chairs at two locations indoors also if guests wanted to eat inside. Access to the kitchen area was perfect for the extra food. The barn lay out was awesome, we had 20 farm tables for 130 or so guests, and we were able to have the barn doors open to provide extra air especially in lieu of ongoing COVID. One minor thing to be aware of (which isn't KP fault) is there are annoying (semi-harmless) small yellow jackets that are near the kitchen area this time of year. Generally they do go away once camp is over, but were present during our ceremony. It didn't ruin our plans at all! Food trucks set up and guests still ate outside. HIGHLY recommend using Kingsley Pines as your wedding venue to have a blast with your family and friends all weekend - everyone couldn't stop saying how much fun they had/relaxed all weekend rather than a one-day wedding ordeal.

We cannot say enough about our time and wedding at Kingsley Pines. Very simply put it was truly a magical weekend that was had by all and for us it was true perfection. The connection that the camp offers to nature, to play, to explore, and to root down into the unique atmosphere is unparalleled. You know when you first arrive at Kingsley Pines you have arrived at a very special place and our guests certainly felt that immediately and through-out the weekend. The camp allowed us to create adventures of a life-time for everyone. Enough cannot be said about the staff. Prior to the wedding Drew and his team made themselves available to any and all questions, inquires and crazy ideas we ran by them. They assisted us immensely ahead of arrival and on-site Dan and his team were incredibly accommodating not only to us and our guests but also to our vendors. They made the weekend seamless and effortless for all. If you have found your way here you are already considering a camp themed wedding and it is with the outmost joy and highest recommendation that we say do it! In our mind it does not get better then Kingsley Pines!

Choosing to have our wedding at Kingsley Pines was the best decision we could have ever made. It was perfect: from the lakeside setting, to the cabins, to all the different spaces we were able to use to hold different events throughout the weekend, it was amazing. All of our guests commented on how magical the weekend was, and Kingsley Pines was a big part of that. The staff was fantastic and super accommodating; Dan couldn't have been more helpful! Our day couldn’t have been more special thanks to the staff and the owners who were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The grounds were meticulously kept and the cabins were extremely cozy. We got married in front of the large oak tree and the ceremony was beautiful! Our guests had such a blast! Our wedding at Kingsley Pines was so much fun! We had a lot of people tell us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! We all had a great time canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding all weekend. It was great to actually be able to see and spend time with family over a long weekend instead of rushing to try to see everyone in just a few hours. We loved sitting around the camp fire at night, it was wonderful to have so much flexibility and to have the whole camp to ourselves. The grounds are beautiful and the tree was a really special place to have our ceremony! The staff at KP was really helpful and responsive throughout the weekend. It was definitely a lot of work setting and cleaning up (and we had a lot of help from our guests!), but it was absolutely worth it for a beautiful weekend with our family and friends!!! - Caitlin, married 05/27/17
We just got married at Kingsley Pines this weekend and everyone is still raving about it! We had so many people tell us it was by far the best wedding they've ever been to, and I have to agree. The whole camp is beautiful, perfectly run, and so flexible to meet the needs of any bride and groom! No need to look anywhere else, it was absolutely perfect. From the lobster bake rehearsal dinner, to dinner and dancing in multiple buildings, wish lantern light off on the beach, and then the full next day of yard games, camp activities, rope swinging, boating, and swimming on the lake with all our family and friends, it was a weekend none of us will ever forget. Drew and his staff took care of everything, and we felt like we were in extremely capable hands the entire time.
